Ted & Sheri, the phenomenal vocal duo who amazed gospel lovers with their debut The Healing Starts Right There, are back. Both singers honed their craft working with gospel's most noted artists - Sheri sings with Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers and Ted is a member of Richard Smallwood's Vision. Winners of 2003 Stellar Awards for Group/Duo of the Year and Contemporary Group/Duo of the Year and now Word recording artists, the dynamic duo presents a powerful and inspiring collection of songs titled Celebrate. Setting the mood of the CD with an exciting and rousing opening track, the Donald Lawrence-penned title tune finds the Memphis natives, Sheri Jones-Moffett and Ted Winn, ministering separately and bouncing off each other over a luscious background of energy-pumping rhythm and horn sections.

God Will Take Care Of You is a head-bopping groove flavored with a touch of organ and a solid brass section. The inspiring and reassuring song showcases the two voices and finds them belting it out. The funky up-tempo cut Turn It Around, opening with riveting vocals from Ted and a sparse instrumentation, is thick with an urban groove. The end of the song closes with a stirring snippet of a sermon from Washington, D.C.'s own Co-Pastor Suzie Owens of Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church. She certainly adds an extra touch with her declaration that God will indeed "turn it around".

How Much You Mean To Me is a scorching ballad, with flawless execution from both singers. Produced by noted vocalist and producer PJ Morton, the track calls for lifted hands. With a strong church feel and beautifully harmonized background vocals, this is one for the "repeat" button. Gospel pioneer Bishop Walter Hawkins lends his song and voice to the classic Lord, I Love You on this project. Yvette Flunder steps in as well making for some exquisite vocal banter from the four singers. The song is updated tastefully while keeping its initial integrity. Providing something for worshippers, the duo offers the reverent and calming song, Serenade. The track gives Sheri time to demonstrate her vocal prowess alone while singing to her Lord.

Flirting with a hip hop groove, Totally Free finds Ted & Sheri declaring their freedom in Christ. Heavy on the urban side, the track certainly begs for mainstream appeal. Another favorite will certainly be the Latin-tinged, acoustic-guitar touched Conversation. Ted flies solo on this track in which he sings about hearing from God. It's a peaceful and melodious entry. Another standout is the gospel cut, You Sustained Me. Already getting airplay, the track is 100% church with its back-bending choir vocals and the duo's vocal acrobatics, it's certainly one of the strongest on this CD.

Lord, Please Touch Me, a gentle plea for God's touch of wholeness, comes off with depth of sincerity. Believe,  the closing track on Celebrate, rates high on the danceable scale.  Produced by Myron Butler and PJ Morton, this project certainly gives the gospel community a reason to celebrate.
