Nashville, TN – Soulful songstress June Rochelle connected with dozens of old and new friends, including multi-Stellar Award winner Dorinda Clark-Cole, during this year’s “I Hear Music In The Air” conference. June was selected to be the only vocalist involved with the opening ceremonies, and her gifts and vocal prowess were brilliantly apparent to all who witnessed the performance, kicking the festivities into high gear. Tracey Artis, CEO for I Hear Music, Inc., raves that June Rochelle is “a must for all gospel lovers.” The multifaceted three-day Gospel music showcase, conference, concert and gala featured appearances by renowned artists including June Rochelle, Israel & New Breed, Tye Tribett, J Moss, Byron Cage, Martha Munizzi, Vicki Winans and the legendary Dr. Bobby Jones, to name a few. Industry professionals including Max Siegel and Vicki Mack Lataillade also addressed the enthusiastic crowd.
June Rochelle has been named "the melodic queen of soul and inspiration" by fans, and her voice has been compared to the great Anita Baker. Her national debut project, Changing Places, released on April 4, 2006 on Vision Entertainment Media Group and is distributed through Pyramid/Fontana, a division of Universal Music Group. The project beautifully blends urban, adult contemporary and gospel musical styles and continues to generate rave reviews from both critics and industry insiders.
