HURD JOINS
LINE-UP FOR
"NIGHT OF HEALING" CONCERT IN NYC

Remains in Top 10 on R&R Gospel Chart

Integrity Gospel recording artist Stephen Hurd will join a
stellar line-up of gospel artists for New York-based radio
station The Kiss's "Night of Healing" concert to be held at
Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 14, 2004.
Other performers slated to appear include Donnie McClurkin,
Hezekiah Walker, Israel & New Breed, Byron Cage, Martha Munizzi
and the Allen Liturgical Dancers. During the event Hurd will
perform music from his recently released album, A Call to Worship‹Live in DC, including his hit radio single, "Undignified Praise
(I Will Dance)," which is currently in the Top 10 of R&R Magazine's
"Gospel Top 30" chart.
A Call to Worship,
released this summer, is Hurd's first
internationally-distributed album and was produced by
multi-Grammy, Dove and Stellar award-winning producer Steven
Ford (Shirley Caesar, Vicki Winans), who also performs on the
album. Recorded live at Hurd¹s home church in the Washington,
D.C. area, A Call to Worship
contains 11 powerful Praise & Worship songs. including several
original compositions written by Hurd.
Hurd, a dynamic
worship leader whose involvement in the music ministry spans
nearly two decades, has served on the ministry teams of such
renowned evangelists as Reverend Jackie McCollugh, Dr. Jeremiah
Wright, Dr. John Kenny, Bishop Paul Morton, Bishop Hilliard, Jr.
and Tommy Trenny. Through his publishing company, Hurd the Word
Music, Hurd has worked with world-renowned artists Tramaine
Hawkins, Richard Smallwood, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Karen
Clark-Sheard, Donnie McClurkin and more. He is an alumnus of
the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and the Howard University
College of Fine Arts.
